When my mom told me that I had to read this book and that until I did I couldn’t read anything else, I was pretty skeptical. I know that most of you don’t know my mom, but she likes to remind me that “variety is the spice of life” and I tend to do what she tells me to, so I read this book even though it is really not in the genre that I normally read and it was fantastic. This book is about a young religious man named Piscene Pattel but he goes by Pi. His family owns a zoo and one day, they load the zoo up onto a boat and start to sail. They are coming to North America from India. All of a sudden the ship sinks. This book is about Pi’s well, life.
I stayed up until about midnight with this book. It has a profanity factor of zero or one and a romance factor of zero.
Hope everyone enjoys this book!
