Lucie mannet finds out her father is alive at the age of seventeen. He was a prisoner of the Bastille for five years and they eventually got him to England. I can’t tell you guys too much, because everything is so important. However, I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would. Everyone says so many bad things about Dickens, but I really liked this book. No, I didn’t read it for school; everyone asks that. Anyway, I stayed up until about two A.M. I would give this book a profanity factor of zero and a romance factor of about zero-point-twenty-five.
