These are awesome books! They are about a cyborg living in dystopian China. Her name is Cinder and she is the best mechanic in New Beijing. When her sister Peony gets the deadly plague, she gets “chosen” for plague research. With tensions rising between Luna (the country on the moon) and Earth rising, Cinder isn’t sure what will happen at the upcoming ball, or with the Android Prince Kai left in her care. With the help of her friends, Cress, Scarlet, Winter, Kai, Thorne, and Wolfe, Cinder will go on many adventures that try the bonds of loyalty, friendship, and love.
These books have a profanity factor of zero and a romance factor of three and a half. I stayed up until about five am with these books. They are fantastic.
