Sorry this post is a little late, my little dog named Curly died on Thursday and so I spent the whole weekend trying to be more OK and I am a little more OK today. This is an interesting book. It is about a dystopian England ruled by an organization called the party and at the top of the party is Big Brother. Big Brother has these cameras/televisions called telescreens that they use to keep the peace and to keep the people under their control. This book showed me elements of our government today at a more extreme level.

This book kind of creeped me out, but I stayed up until about one in the morning with this book.

It doesn’t have much romance, but there is a bit of content that would require a parent’s discretion regarding when you could read it. It also has a profanity factor of zero.
